For the weekly photo challenge: Delicate
This year there are two flutists in my family (as well as two teenagers) and sometimes our schedule doesn’t afford time for separate practice. In order for Trinidad and Rane to practice separate pieces of music simultaneously, each girl must use a gentle breath and delicate fingering.
Many thanks to Gilliam Music and Norman Public Schools for their assistance in providing flutes for these girls to play

Nice family of musicians you have lovely. music fills & at the same time empties the soul.

Flutists do have a delicate touch. I don’t play, but I had a 4th grade student who would come and visite me when she was in 5th grade and try to teach me . I couldn’t master the difficult skill of blowing into the instrument to make that delicately beautiful sound. Love your post. Thanks for visiting my site. Glad to have you. Marsha
I haven’t been able to master the flute, either! Thank you for visiting my blog

My pleasure
What a lovely post. It would have been nice to hear the girls play, but I can imagine what they sound like. Hugs. Ralph x

Thank you Ralph! Merry Christmas to you, too…and this has turned out to be a wonderful Christmas, after all. The children are very excited to see what Santa sent for them, and I can hardly wait for them to find out! Love and Hugs, Lyann
