It seems like just yesterday Zack was dressed up and ready to go Trick-or-Treating
Zack and his best friend on and off-ice ham it up at school trick-or-treat
Last year, Zack helped hang Christmas decorations at the skating rink (you can see Eva practising, right under Zack’s arm)
Coach Carmon and Eva work together at the far end of the rink while Zack works in the foreground
This year, all of a sudden, both Halloween and Thanksgiving have passed and it’s Christmas-time again
Something is going to have to be moved to make room for this!
Milo sleeps unaware his favorite napping place is soon to be moved
the love cats 🙂
Zack explains to Milo and Otis why they must move – Zack is going to move my desk to make room for our Christmas tree
Zack moved my desk into the back room…where the chalkboard wall remains from times – seasons – past…and a few cobwebs from Halloween 🙂
x
After I strung the lights, the children decorated the tree and hung the stockings
I wish for everyone, that all change is for the better!
It’s always the season for love!

Fun post and nice tree! 🙂
Thank you! Blessings to you and Best Wishes for a Happy New Year 🙂
Good morning Lyann. I love these photographs especially the one of Milo asleep on your laptop. My cats are banned from the top of my desk and the cables behind as they keep trying to play with the wires. Hugs. Ralph x
Good Morning! I wouldn’t know how to ban my kitties from anything! But…they are very good kitties, and haven’t caused any trouble that would get them a banishment from anywhere in our home:) I was a bit worried they might give climbing the Christmas tree a “go”, but so far they seem to prefer just avoiding it. I don’t know what they really think of it, but seems to me they’re suspicious of something that would have their favorite napping place moved to make room for – and that tree must seem awfully big to them :D Thank you for stopping by, Ralph! Hugs, Lyann

I am worried that they might chew an electric cable, but like children they know when I tell them not to do something. They are really lovely and I adore my cats. I did have a tree in my last house and had to remove any ornaments from the bottom two levels as they smashed so many baubles by patting away at them. Cats !! Ralph x
Oh, my goodness – we have bunnies that chew cables and must be carefully watched when they are out and about in the house, but the kitties have not caused any trouble since they were very, very little and had not yet learned they are not allowed on the kitchen counters. Since then, which has been a couple of years now, I don’t even think of them as banned from anywhere, since they just don’t bother anything. I did have a cat a long time ago who climbed up into my Christmas tree and chewed through the wires and set the thing on fire. Until Milo and Otis came out of the woods as kittens, after a tornado, I thought I would NEVER have another cat! These two are just so precious, all the more so because they chose my family to make their own. The trouble with the tree this year is George (our dog) wagging his tail and knocking ornaments off the tree – but the children love getting to redecorate at least the bottom of the Christmas tree every day when they come home from school Your kitties sound good enough – they do mind the best they can!

Pets are fun 😀
…and worth every bit of trouble and constant watching 🙂 On the most troublesome days, I remind myself of the movie “Marley and Me” …but, there aren’t many troublesome days with my pets â¤
Ok. Now I’m craving for some candy cane!
🙂 We just had to buy some new ones…all the ones in the photos mysteriously disappeared!
