On our way to an appointment in town, rain turned to ice and the sky filled with wavy clouds

I think I prefer winter waves to heat waves 🙂

    • I, too, am grateful that this winter is coming to an end. Although it’s been mild, there’s been just enough cloudy skies, cold and snow to make me yearn for sunny and warm days. I’ll take cold over hot any day, but nice warm days and blue skies are a pleasant joy for me, as well.

  1. Wow. I understand that these wavy clouds are a type of cloud called stratus undulatus. There are websites that collect cloud photos especially #4 – #8 which are great. You had better ask your resident weather expert 😀 Ralph xox

    • lol, I used to think I preferred the heat of summer over the cold of winter, but too many summers of triple-digit weather changed that 🙂 You can add many more layers of clothing or blankets than you can remove! The icy roads are scary, definitely, and if we hadn’t been caught by surprise we would not have been driving on them theday I took these photos. I like warm weather, but I’ll take cold days over hot ones any time:D

      Hugs to you, Gwennie! Lyann
